Making dreams a reality for others

Meet Will! Duchenne has limited his ability to walk and made family outings tough. It was taking away from his independence. Will was wanting to stay home instead of going out because it was hard for him to get in and out of the vehicle safely. His mom reached out to us and we were thrilled to provide them with a grant to assist them in receiving their new handicap accessible van!

His mom sent us the following in her message to us after receiving the van:

“Thank you so much for helping us with the van! We have been on 3 family outings now and it has been great seeing how easily Will can independently get into the van. It’s been a long time since he’s had that independence.

No more looking over his shoulder at school pick up to make sure nobody sees that his parents have to help him get into the van. Now he has the freedom to go on outings with friends instead of being limited to having friends come to the house or meet at an accessible location. We are so excited about all the fun family adventures we can now have.”

We cannot wait to see more of their family outings!

None of this would be possible without all of your support! Make sure to put sign-up for the 6th Annual Jaxon’s Superheroes Foundation Golf Outing on September 7th at the Charlevoix Country Club! Signup over on our Events page to save your spot in this incredible event!
