Connection changes everything
In 2017, Jaxon’s diagnosis introduced the Hunt family to unfamiliar medical terms, difficult decisions, and uncertainty. Connecting with families who had already begun this journey brought knowledge, encouragement, and hope.
That experience inspired the foundation’s first purpose: peer-to-peer support for families navigating life after diagnosis.
From gratitude to purpose
Before launching the foundation, the family and its supporters raised more than $75,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Their community helped support research, summer camp, and resources for families.
A service dog. A bigger idea.
In 2020, a campaign to help Jaxon get a service dog brought the community together again. It raised a new question: how could that same generosity help other families?

Today, Jaxon’s Superheroes Foundation helps families explore assistance, accessibility, and trusted resources. Whether someone needs practical help or a person who understands, connection remains at the heart of the mission.
